We are very fortunate to have corporate and individual volunteers who regularly help our students and contribute to our community initiatives. We welcome any kind of help on any front. We also thank everyone who has helped us as a volunteer.

Exl Services and Centrica India

Volunteers from ExL Services and Centrica India have had regular involvement with the school since 2008. These include organizing activities on Fridays. The aim of these activities is to improve English Communication and to build the confidence of students. This volunteering engagement also facilitates regular volunteers from the UK British Gas team. Besides, OM Students keep visiting Exl Office to learn more about corporate and work culture.

Barclays Shared Services

Barclays Shared Services extends its regular volunteering activities under their CSR initiative MADD (Make a Difference Day). They engage with students and women who are a part of Women Empowerment Initiatives. The focus areas of the activities are Financial Literacy, Environment Education, Safety Drills and Art & Craft.

HCL Technologies Foundation

Volunteers from HCL T Foundation engage with students on every Saturday for two hours with various activities aimed at developing the students. They have initiated youth clubs to promote activities in Library Reading, Computers, Confidence Building, Dance, Quiz and Arts. They are also helping the students in preparing for NTSE Examination.

Ms. Mihika Kapoor

For the last three years, Ms. Mihika Kapoor has continued her voluntary activities with the school. She flies in especially from New York for Communication Workshops. She engages with students to help them develop their artistic abilities, creative writing and English language speaking through a series of interactive activities and workshops.

Self Defense Volunteers

Led by a team Somya, Sarthak, Saket, Sachit and Shrey Prakash, all trained in Shotokan Karate and winners of various national and international titles, these Volunteers have initiated a program to impart basic self-defense techniques to OM students. This is done through drills, self-defense scenarios, group activities and games. The program spread over four weeks, with one session per week every Saturday. Currently, batches of Class 8 and Class 6 at OM Foundation School are part of the program, with further sessions planned for the benefit of more students.
